AvP2 Trading Cards at ComicCon + New Promo Card + AvP2 Page Update 12th July 2007 - Comment Corporal Hicks has posted some interesting news on the Forums, it seems that Inkworks will be at the 2007 San Diego Comic Con, and they will also be advertising their Aliens vs Predator Trading Cards, by giving away a promo:

09th July 2007 - Comment After what Galmorzu (ex-ZI Games member) said on the Future Plans page, I looked into this and posted information in the forums, and finally discovered that the cards company Reality Simulations, Inc own the rights to the AliensPredator CCG game, and the Battleground system. This is what they had to say on terms of a re-release: "As far as re-release goes, it's unlikely. The TCG market is much changed since that time, the licence has expired, Precedence is dead and everyone has disbursed. I unfortunately don't see it happening, at least as a real product. It's remotely possible it could be a virtual product if one of us got super-inspired, but even that's remote." So basically, the only way it looks likely is if someone buys the rights off them, which means you would have to be, as Galmorzu said, filthy rich. I have updated the Future Plans and the FAQ pages accordingly.
09th July 2007 - Comment Well, there's a new Pic of the Month, again from the Atmosphere images, I just love it. Speaking of which, as much as I say Pic of the Month, I doubt its going to be that, and really just every now and again. I've also added a News Archive, otherwise it would have all gotten out of control. And finally, I've added a Starter Deck Contents Images link to the AliensPredator CCG page. |
